Working in Europe to Stop Truancy Among Youth

Description: WE-STAY general objectives are: (1) to gather information on truancy on European adolescents, (2) to perform 3 intervention school-based programmes for adolescents, with objectives to reduce truancy rates and improve mental health of students, (3) to evaluate outcomes of all interventions, in comparison with a control group, from a multidisciplinary perspective including social, psychological and economical aspects, and (4) to recommend effective, culturally adjusted models for preventing truancy and promoting mental health of adolescents in different European countries.
